DULF AID: THE COUNTDOWN CONTINUES
Hi-ho, everybody! Hi-ho! The hour is upon us, and it’s a doozy! On October 5, 2025, at Red Gate Arts Society, the Drug User Liberation Front, and the flustered, flapping, slightly panicked “Jim from Red Gate”, are throwing DULF AID, a telethon, a concert, a wild, wacky, last-ditch extravaganza!
The numbers, friends, the numbers! $350,000 by midnight! What have we raised so far? $181,644! Still needed: $168,356! GASP! That’s $33,671.20 per day – yikes! Every second counts! Every dollar counts! And if we don’t get there… oh, the poor lawyers! And then… what? Silence. Darkness. Oblivion. The collapse of everything for which we fight, everything we cling to, everything we love in this trembling, grotesque world.
Feel it – the pressure, the crushing weight, the inevitability of it. $33,671.20 per day. Every hour, every second, poised like a knife over the trembling throat of life itself.
This is not a festival. Not a concert. Not a celebration. It is a trembling, grotesque gesture toward meaning, toward survival, against a backdrop of cosmic indifference. The ghosts of Live Aid loom, pale and distant, and yet here there is no comfort, no distraction, only immediacy, only exposure: the streets slick, the bodies fragile, the cries fading.
