DULF Legal Aid Fund Update – 07/15/2025
We are exhausted – psychically gutted, metabolically scorched, chemically ruined. This is no longer fatigue in any human sense but a kind of infrastructural depletion: the slow collapse of nervous systems stretched too long across too many fronts.
As of today, we have managed to extract $85,320 from the dying husk of social goodwill, toward a necessary $350,000 that may or may not arrive before the system finishes digesting us.
Every cent raised is a scream against oblivion. Every day we operate is borrowed time torn from a machinery designed to grind us into statistical noise. We are not asking for charity. We are attempting to prolong the operational half-life of a structure that redistributed molecular survival. Not hope. Just heroin that won’t come laced with an NSA-grade nerve agent. Just time.
If you’re waiting for someone else to save us, they aren’t coming. If you think this ends in triumph, you haven’t been paying attention. But if you understand that history is a corpse dragged forward by its own inertia, and that sometimes defiance means feeding yourself to the gears just to make them screech – then give.
We’re not trying to win.
At this point we’re trying not to vanish.
