$80,000 Raised – But Must We Beg to Stay Alive?
We’ve raised $80,000. We need $350,000 by October 6th – or we risk losing everything.
Must we scrape and crawl just to fund the right to exist? Must we appeal, hat in hand, to the same institutions that criminalize compassion and engineer silence?
We don’t ask for charity – we demand justice. This isn’t about defending individuals; this is about defending the act of refusing to let people die quietly.
Why should we accept the criminalization of care?
Why should we accept policy that leaves bodies in alleys and mothers in morgues?
Why should we, in the midst of a state-manufactured crisis, be told to shut up and wait for reform?
We will not wait.
For seven years, the Drug User Liberation Front has acted where others only theorized. We tested drugs when the government wouldn’t. We saved lives while they wrote press releases. We stepped into the void because someone had to. And for this – we’re being prosecuted.
