DULF Legal Aid Fund Update – 04/14/2025

Today marks the start of the ninth year of a declared public health crisis driven by the deregulated drug supply, a crisis that, since 2016, has claimed over 16,000 lives in BC alone. Behind every statistic lies a name, a face, a deeply cherished story: our friends, our family, our community members.

Let’s be clear: not everyone who uses drugs is ready, or even able, to quit immediately. Until there exists a full continuum of care, including a predictable, regulated supply, stable housing, trauma-informed support, and voluntary treatment, we are letting the most vulnerable fall through the cracks.

The Drug User Liberation Front is fighting for that care. We’re fighting for autonomy, for dignity, and for survival.

Thanks to your support, we’ve raised $25,367 toward our $350,000 goal. Every dollar moves us closer to a future that resists the crippling effects of deregulation and a system that too often abandons us.

But the fight isn’t over, we need your help to keep this momentum going.

Please donate, share, and spread the word.

We don’t need more condolences. We need action.
